Line Spacing

Different makes of printer interpret the font size of characters differently. If the font size changes then the spacing between the lines will also change. If this happens you will find that the printed text does not line up correctly on the page. There is a function that allows you to manually change the spacing between the lines of printed text. To have less of space between the lines select a lower number and vice versa to increase the line spacing. Any changes you make are saved to the current database If you use any of the print functions on another printer you may have to ‘fine tune’ the line spacing.

It is advisable to create another new blank database if you change any of the line space settings. Any new databases that you subsequently create will have the new settings.

There are four line space settings

It is recommended to change the line space settings by small amounts, then do a test print to check the alignment of the text.
