Notes

For each entry in the database there is a box where you can enter notes. You could’ for instance, enter the names of members of a band or maybe just type the word ‘Rare’ to indicate that the recording is a rare copy. Whatever you enter in the notes section you can search for at a later time.

You can use the notes field to add extra information. For example you may want to enter the name of the lead singer and drummer. You could enter the following:-

Leader Singer: Fred Smith

Drummer: John Brown.

See separate help topic on additional fields.

You can now do a search for Leader Singer, Drummer, Fred Smith or John Brown. All these will find matches.

It is also possible to search for all matches for all entries that contain Fred Smith AND John Brown. To do this you will need to use the Advanced Search screen and enter the above names in the boxes provided in the notes section. See the separate help topic for use of the Advanced Search screen.
