You can enter general notes about the database. These may be names and addresses, people or shops where you purchased recordings or just basic notes related to the database.

To enter ‘Database Notes’, open a database and select Database Notes from the Utilities drop-down menu or hit ctrl + d. The General Notes screen will now be displayed. Enter any notes in the box provided. Hit ‘Save’ to save the notes to the current database. Note: closing this screen will not save any changes you have made, remember to save any changes before closing this screen.

To copy these notes to another database, use the mouse to highlight all the text you want to copy. Hit ctrl +c to transfer the information to the clipboard. Open the database you want to copy the notes to. Open the Database Notes screen, click at the top left of the input box and hit ctrl + v.
