Probably one of the worse failures is if you have a hard drive failure. If the drive cannot be repaired then you have lost all your data. Hopefully you would have made copies of any important documents and files, including copies of any Music Collector databases.

After you have restored your operating system you will need to install the Music Collector Database Program again.

You will then need to copy back to your PC all the copies of any Music Collector database files that you have saved.

When you start the Program you will notice that you will be running the unregistered version.

You will need to enter your registration number again. Once you have done this you should be able to open the database files you copied back to your PC, and continue working.

Make sure you keep your registration number safe. You will need it if you have to reinstall the Music Collector Database Program.
