Any database can be repaired, by selecting ‘Repair Database’ from the File drop-down menu on the Main Menu screen.

Select the database you want to repair and click on the Open button.

The database will now be tested and repaired if necessary.

If any errors are encountered a box will be displayed with error codes and the reason for the failure. If you are having problems with this database file and it doesn’t repair then it may be corrupted and beyond repair. If this is the case you will need to use a backup copy of the database.

NOTE: Any repairs must be done before opening a database.
