How To Use Help

 Select a topic from the list. Click on a topic link to display more information.
Use your browser back button to return to the topic list.

Terms Used

All the different screens and forms are identified by the name at the top left hand corner, enclosed in square brackets.

Drop-down menu. These are the menus that can be selected from the top of the screen or form.

Click or clicking is pushing the left-hand button on the mouse.

Tick boxes. These can be ticked by clicking in the box and are used to select certain parameters.

Option buttons. These are the small circles with the name of the option to the right. If the option is selected a small dot will appear in the middle of the option button.

You may see the term ‘record’, this refers to one entry in the database. Each record is made up of various ‘fields’ i.e. Artist, Title, Year, Format etc.

To print the current topic, click on the Print button.
