Change All Picture Pathnames

Pictures are added to the database by entering the path and filename of a picture file. The actual picture is not added to the database. If large picture files were added to the database the database file would grow too large and the Program would be very slow to run. When you open the picture screen, the Program tries to find the picture files you have entered. If the picture files are found, the pictures associated with them will be displayed in one of the two picture boxes. If the picture files cannot be found, an error message will be displayed showing the path and filename the Program is trying to locate.

You may have these picture files scattered all over your PC. It would be better to copy all the picture files associated with the Program to a separate folder. If you did this after entering all the filenames into the database, you would have to go through each entry and change each filename. A quicker way to do this would be to use the ‘Change All Picture Pathnames’ function.
